Here's the specs:
-8gb ram
-3rd gen intel core i5 3.4 gigahertz
-CD/DVD Drive (I ripped this out of my current computer, the one I'm not replacing, because none of the drives in the other computer were sata)
-Nvidia geforce gtx550 ti 1gb
-60gb solid state drive (for booting)
-1tb hard drive (not in yet, need to take it out of the old computer)(for media)
-500gb (i think) hard drive (not in yet)(for files and non-media)
-video capture card (not in yet, the media center we were gonna hook it up to got destroyed in the hurricane)
-3 fans on case 1 of them has LED
I put it together myself because my dad was in Florida. Haven't booted it yet, waiting for my dad to get back and look it over.

It was $600. I didn't pay for it though- my dad did. We got tons of deals. I guess I could have afforded it, but honestly I'm fine not having my own computer. Anyways, I'll probably be the only one who uses it everyday.

I should really, really start putting together the other computer downstairs now.
Mainly because dad says I can install linux on the old one when I'm done.

My dad got home from Florida and we booted it up. It kept crashing after a few seconds. Eventually we got it onto the BIOS setup screen. Everything was okay for a little but then it crashed. After an hour or so we finally got to windows boot. After it had prepared the files we got BSOD. I did some googling and found it was a memory error. We took out a stick of RAM and then it booted properly. Now we only have 4gb ram. We will probably return the other stick.

Pretty nice computer. You need a replacement for the broken RAM stick badly, though.

I got it to work. When my dad got home it put one stick in a different slot. Later I put it back like I had it and it works.

I actually have no idea how we got it. I don't think it hasn't even been released to the public yet.
But its probably going to be released before 2013 so parents can get it for their college kids.
