Chapter 1:
As they pulled in to the camp site, there was a mixture of relief and dread, this was the sixth year in a row that the Menards had gone camping and even though there had been a disaster last year they had decided to come back. There had been two adults and three kids until last year at this very camp site when Jake the oldest had gone missing without a trace, so now it was just Rachel and Alex the twins. Later that night when everyone was sleeping under the night sky, two figures approached the camp. One was a tall figure in a long dark cloak with a walking stick and the other was a small creature with a big, round head but a twig like body.
"Here they are" said the creature in a high cracking voice.
"Yes, I have eyes you know" a deep voice from within the cloak said.
The figure said "Hovek al Nerva."
There was a small rippling in the air and thay disappeared. The next day when every one got up something was off. was it that the car was over an inch? or that some one was sitting on their bags? no one could put there finger on it.
