Could there be an other problem with the JAVA-Scratch Interpreter?

see: “Sounds Of Gravity”
at: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/MartinWollenweber/1626
Offline it works well, but online (at my computer) nothing moves.
Can anybody help?

Re: Could there be an other problem with the JAVA-Scratch Interpreter?

Hi, Martin.

You're right, there's a bug in the Java Scratch player. It is tickled by the fact that some of your scripts have a "point towards" or "distance to" block with no sprite selected. That can happen if you deleted the sprite that was originally selected. The player should simply do nothing in this case but it is failing--that's the bug. I will try to fix it this week. Meanwhile, if you want to work around the bug, you can fill in those blank sprite fields in your scripts. (There are quite a few of these...)

Very cool project, by the way!

Hi John,
thank you very much for the tip. I changed the program and now it also runs with the Java Player, evean  before you debuged it.

I've fixed the original bug in v11 of the Java player. I'm glad you were able to fix your game while you were waiting...
