Hmm.. It has its place as being cheaper than a full iPad. The portability really isn't far superior to that of a full iPad. The mini would need to go in a backpack like a full iPad, the itouch can go in a pocket. Really there is no difference between carrying a full of mini iPad.

Yeah, I can agree with that.

I'd really like the new iPod Touch for more portability than my iPad. Will either buy donor wait until Christmas.

Could you please make the sentence easier to understand?  tongue

Ooops....

Yeah, I can agree with that.

I have no idea what you're talking about.  tongue

What I said is that I'm going to buy a new iPod Touch so I can put it in my pocket all the time, even though I already have an iPad, because the touch is much more portable. But I don't know if I'll get it now or on Christmas.

299, but it isn't really a fair comparison as the base capacity is now 32 gigabytes instead of 16.

Yeah, the real cost of an iPhone 5 including a two-year contract is nearing $2,000.

Re: Apple Official Topic

The phone itself is free.

If you want to text and call on it, it's not.  tongue

Edit: Even when you don't want to text or call, you have to pay very little each month, I suppose.  tongue

Edit2: By very little I mean like 20 bucks. Lol

Re: Apple Official Topic

no, the phone isn't free

if that was the case people would get an iPhone, not text or call anyone on it, meaning they pay absolutely nothing for it, and then use another rubbish phone for calling and texting

i never understood how companies can get away with calling stuff free when it's really not

The iPhone4 is free with a contract meaning to get the phone it's free. Then you have to pay monthly.  tongue

Re: Apple Official Topic

It's not 99 cents, it's two thousand dollars. You can't get the phone without the contract, and you can't break free of the contract. It's cheaper than buying an unlocked version, but still not 99c.
