In my opinion, Apple is horrible.

Yes he is. This is the Scratch Forums, not the Apple Forums.

That is why I made the Apple Topic. Everything about Apple goes in here.
It will stop a lot of flooding...

Apple just announced changes to their executives and their responsibility. Scott Forstall will be leaving next year. Overall, this sounds like a good thing.

If someone is leaving, why is that a good thing?
Anyway, what will be different?

What if they aren't good/helpful?
And it won't really change things for consumers, just for the working of the departments of Apple.

Just as long as they don't get rid of Johnny Ive. If they get rid of him, they will fail horribly.

Never - I think Steve left Tim with one rule: Keep Johnny as long as possible. He made sure Ive had complete control and say in what happened in the design portion of it all.
I have a picture of Ive on my wall...I might have posted it before.

That's obsessive... *Hides picture of Gaben*
They have possibly the greatest designer in the world, but they REALLY need to get better software engineers. iMessage on the iPad doesn't work half the time, and if they can make an OS, they should be able to make a chat program that works.

True.
And okay, sounds cool.

Yes. Yes, it is.
If you buy older versions that are pretty much the same, it's cheap.

Not overpriced really...

It all depends on the product. The Mac mini is overpriced, and the MacBook Pro 13 is overpriced. Other than that, they're reasonably priced within their price range. The MBA is priced on-par with the category average, and the 15" MacBook Pros provide good power, thinness (on the retina and non-retina models) and battery life at a relatively good price.
iPods and iPhones aren't really that overpriced compared to other devices in the category, and the iPad is far superior to anything in that price range.
As for my grudge on the MacBook Pro 13, you can get the same specs on a laptop FAR cheaper, and it isn't ultra thin or light, which will obviously push the price up.

Apple's actual products aren't that overpriced, but their accessories are, and it bugs me; $29 just for a 30 pin to VGA adapter! Luckily. Accessories can usually be bought by other companies.

I can agree with that.

Isn't that illegal?

No, I don't think so, Apple allows people to create accessories to work with their devices, but I'm not sure if they break any copyright things.
Besides, most of these remakes are from Chinese companies, who don't need to follow our rules.
