How to Hack into Scratch 2.0

Make a bookmark.
The URL should be

Code:

javascript:if(window.location!='http://alpha.scratch.mit.edu/scratchr2/static/Scratch_new.swf'){window.location='http://alpha.scratch.mit.edu/scratchr2/static/Scratch_new.swf'};javascript:document.body.childNodes[0].ASsetEditMode(true);document.body.childNodes[0].ASsetLoginUser(prompt('Please note: the username you enter will be displayed on the top \nright of Scratch2.0 even if the password you enter next is incorrect, but \ncloud variables will not work perfectly.\n\nScratch Username:'),prompt('Scratch Password: (Careful - NOT masked!!)'));

Once the link takes you to the scratch player, click it again, and you'll be in the editor in no time.

Re: How to Hack into Scratch 2.0

I dont think it works correctly on Chrome or IE9. I just see a big viewer that does nothing.

I am currently http://blocks.scratchr.org/API.php?user=GP1&action=onlineStatus&type=imagehttp://blocks.scratchr.org/API.php?user=GP1&action=onlineStatus&type=text and I finally got over 1000 posts.

Chrome deletes the "javascript:" part when you paste it into the omnibar. You have to type it in at the beginning.

What version are you using?

Also, it doesn't work from the NTP. Try it on about:blank.

It works.  You don't update your Chrome, because it's worked forever for me.  I have newest.

Re: How to Hack into Scratch 2.0

It works in chrome but you need to enter alpha.scratch.mit.edu/scratchr2/static/Scratch_new.swf

then you open web console and put the code.

I beg to differ, as I have the same screen.

How can you possibly disagree that I have the most recent version of Chrome? I gave you a screenshot. You're wrong: my Chrome is up to date, and updates automatically. Moving on, here's a screenshot of what happens when I paste it into the omnibar:

http://i49.tinypic.com/346nmvm.jpg

Notice that it doesn't have the protocol. Notice that the primary action is "search." I'm running OS X. You're running whatever you're running. It's a bug in Chrome for OS X.

My Chrome version is your Chrome version.  I'm agreeing that we have the same version.
Moving on, I LOVE 2.0.

I agree. If you want to get into Scratch 2.0, then just apply there. No reason to hack.

That might get you on before July 2050. The hacking thing gets you on right now.

Well, I'm on page 7, so things are not looking so good, unless I launch a brute force attack on the alpha. (jk  tongue )
