Let's get 2.0 rolling already, I've been waiting more than a year to make Cube II! D:
You can make it right now and import it into 2.0 when it comes out.
and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to make your best game on a glitchy program. so you should wait.
Here's the latest blog post on Scratch 2.0:
http://blog.scratch.mit.edu/2012/10/scr … tures.html
It gives information on 4 new features of Scratch 2.0: cloud data, a new user ID block, time blocks (current () and days since 2000), and running a script without screen refresh.
What do you think of these? Check out the post, then join the discussion on this thread!
Note that more information about these and other features can be found on the Scratch Wiki.
it should be days until ()
Don't necropost, this thread isn't relevant anymore.
Even if it is only a month and a half since the last relevant post
You could use these cloud variables for a multiplayer game. Also is cloud variables could be changed inside look inside it could really mess up the game even if it was temporary. I guess you could make normal variables which constantly update the cloud variables as normal variables cannot be changed.
