How to make a very advanced platformer

I'm not a noob at making platformers. I know how to imply most if not all of the basic physics that are needed and a few advanced ones like movement velocity. I also know how to make everything scroll.

I'm laking a few key points however.

Storyline with a good goal.

Graphics. (I'm bad at making anything look like what I want it to be. Just not experienced)
I usually just search around online and take pictures of the stuff on the pre-existing games and use it on my own. This works great, and their may not be any other way to do it without having to practice for hours.

Making a level difficult but not so hard that it will take everyone ten minutes to figure everything out. I'm not bad at this but I'm not great at it either. I just need a few cool concepts to add some depth to my game.

Re: How to make a very advanced platformer

I think for the levels and storyline ideas, you could probably ask in Project Ideas. As for the graphics, I am also terrible at them, so I just do abstract art and other shapes. (Triangles and squares mostly.) Though if you want higher quality, you can ask for some in Requests.

I'm afraid "Help with Scripts" is only helpful for creating the game engine, but not for the game plot. Sorry. Hope the above helps.  smile
