its amazing but a bit difficult to use. My least favorite thing is that you need to shake the top holding handle to rotate the clip circle. The clips are tightly fit in. The ranges are around 60 to 75 feet. The set also comes with 4 clips instead of 8 that it can hold. Unlike the vulcan and stampede its very light. Its very small. Around the size of a recon/retaliator. Its very durable and mobile. These flaws are only bad if you used to large nerf blasters. Get it its amazing. I would wait until its on sale to buy it. Its expensive. 65$ in canadian money around 50$ in american.ya, I was about to then my parents were all like "you can get like 6 of those other guns for the price of that one!" And Im like "Ugh... this is gonna be a long day" XD
The vulcan was alot more expensive in 2008. A 60 $ gun with 25 $ spenton batteries. Its only worth 30 $ now.
ya, I cant count how many times my brother and I wanted to build a fort and get that gun and gaurd the fort XD And ofcourse being a girl I really didnt care, but my crush had one, so I pretended I did. XD

I really want the nerf hail fire!
I have that--it's quite frustrating to use actually.
I like the idea of the rotating clips, it's just that you have to keep rotating the clip-thingy, and each clip only holds six, and you end up running out of ammo in a really short time.

The way to rotate the clip thing is frustrating too.

Bump.
In my opinion, the best Nerf dart guns of all time are the Vulcan EBF-25 and Stampede ECS. Those are the two Nerf guns that I have the most fun with. Whenever I go over to a friend's house for some party and he's like "wanna play some Nerf?" to the rest of the kids, and then everyone who's over the age of 13 is like "ugh, no, grow up and get some airsoft guns", but then he busts out the Vulcan and Stampede, and everyone's like "holy god, let's play".
I really like the Vulcan because it's just like a minigun. Doesn't have a rotating barrel-- which sucks, Nerf needs to make one of those--but it's still awesome. It has that ammo belt and has decent firepower. I feel like I'm the T-101 in Terminator 2 shooting up all the police cars with a minigun (people who've seen the movie, you guys remember that) whenever I'm using the Vulcan.
The Stampede is just something I can comfortable hold in my hand and spray bullets at everyone. It's fully auto, so that's awesome. Only con is its ammo amount--18 rounds? Not so great by my standards.
The best Nerf Vortex blaster though is hands-down the Pyragon. It has a 40-round magazine--that alone makes it a favorite. Plus, the slam-fire is incredibly comfortable and efficient. Beats the Praxis and Nitron by a landslide.
