I think this is a glitch. Even when the
stop allbutton is scripted in, the music still plays. Take this project for example: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/scratchU8/2826382 MM is the password. When you get a Game Over, I scripted it to stop all, but instead, music continues to play. However, everything else stops. I am using Google Chrome as my browser.

My game is disc golf, found here: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlexJ84/2846026, and works locally to me in scratch 1.4, on win 7, and once re-downloaded from the gallery works again for a friend in another state on a different computer. However, when playing the online version, in Opera, FF, or Chrome, it immediately defaults to every first throw is overshot by the throw distance.
I can replicate this bug every time online, but it works perfectly, (again, everytime) for both the original and a redownloaded version on a different computer in Scratch.
I'm pretty sure that problem is being caused by the apostrophe characters you have on the tail end of your "distance to hole" variable values. Try taking those off and see if it corrects the problem. It's a flash bug that I've added to the list - thanks for your report.

Yep, that looks like a bug too! I've added it to the list. There's an easy work-around that should do the trick until the bug is fixed - just add a Stop All Sounds block ahead of your Stop All block.

some projects don't work at all, like this one, and all flash projects say I need to install flash, even though I have it, but the notice disappears after a few seconds and the program loads, except for about 50% of them (including this one) that just display a blank screen.
I am using Internet Explorer 8 or 7 (not sure which)
That project works fine for me in Internet Explorer 9 - you might want to upgrade your browser and see if that helps with this project and the other blank screen ones.
The Flash installation message is showing up for everybody - just ignore it.

Are you maybe talking about the Ghost graphic effect? As far as I know, that is working fine - although the stamping behavior of a ghosted sprite has been changed (see the first post of this topic). If you have another problem, please post again with a link to the project and a description of what you are seeing. Thanks!

It sounds like you might need to check your Flash installation on your browser - are you getting any kind of error messages? If you can't get Flash working for you, you can still switch back to the old Java player (look for a link on the right side of the project page) for now anyway. But be aware that the Java player will be going away at some point so try to get your Flash working.

Are you talking about BoltBait's wonderful game? It works fine for me in Chrome. What browser are you using?

I found a glitch, but it's not toooooooooooooo bad that it will cause trouble. When you click on the project you want, It says for a split second, YOU NEED ADOBE FLASH TO VIEW THIS PROJECT, and then you can view the project.

You're having trouble with all those different browsers and operating systems? That seems rather strange. Maybe you aren't sure what your browser or operating system flavors are?
Can you run Flash on other websites? Try this driving Flash game and see if that works for you. That might tell us if Flash is working right on your computer.

To generate the map previews in my roads project, (the first screen) I stamp a 3x3 sprite, changing the x/y position by 3px each time. There are some strange graphical glitches using the Flash player.
Changing the zoom level, and then pressing the green flag again, seems to fix the problem. It looks fine except at actual size!
More screenshots here.
To replicate:
* load the project
(should see odd maps)
* zoom in/out (Ctrl +/-, etc)
* press green flag again
(should look fine)
Is this related to positioning or stamping, or something to do with anti-aliasing? Or do my scripts have a bug? (It works in Scratch 1.4).
Unrelated bug:
If you move the mouse very quickly off the applet, the player will "remember" the last mouse x/y position. This is easiest to replicate using a graphics tablet (or just fast mouse movement).
I'm using 32-bit Chrome on OS X Mountain Lion with Flash 11.4.31.200.

Anti-aliasing
Sharp edges on artwork will be blended by dithering the pixels to slightly different shades. Some people like this look - others not so much. It's an artistic design choice.can I see an example of this? i dont quite understand how it will be different and i see no evidence of it in any of my projects

<>Test 1, 2, and 4 seems to be only affecting the top left corner.
Effects on Fullscreen does not show up in the project. It seems like it just affects a little of the corners. There is a huge difference from offline, online normal screen, and online full screen.
I have posted this two times and it is still not fixed? Its a huge glitch to me.
