If you click the stop sign when the project is loading it stops loading and goes blank.

There is a mysterious symbol in the bottom right corner of the viewing box when in full screen mode.

It's your computer, not Flash.

Huh.  Nice catch!  I'll write that up.

I'm seeing it in regular viewing mode too - not just full screen.

Can you give us a link to a project where that is happening?  Or a project name and project owner if you are having trouble making a link.  That would be very helpful.

That sounds like a slow-down of some sort?  Do you have a lot of other things running on your computer at the same time?  I've noticed that the Flash player seems to be sensitive to load on the computer and sometimes does weird things to sound play-back when the computer runs out of computing power.

Re: Report glitches in the Flash project player here!

I found this interesting layering glitch in the Flash Player where going back fractions of a layer actually makes you go back a layer when it doesn't happen offline or in the Java Player. Here's the link to the Bug Isolation Project if you want to see this in action.

Anyway, I'm using Google Chrome and IE9, as well as Flash Player v.189.

Note: On a side note, I just wanted to say ignore the "random" variable because I was using that in earlier tests of the Flash Player.

My project doesn't work as it does in offline mode. (Go right, and you crash, then fall through the ground) This does not happen when you download it.

I'm using firefox, used chrome and got the same results.

Re: Report glitches in the Flash project player here!

When the green flag is clicked, the answer variable is not reset, so this project can't be restarted: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Minti_Mint/2966536. If not resetting answer is correct behavior, then there should be a way to manually reset it, as with normal variables.

In my project pie launcher 716, http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/turtlejay/2968026, constantly starts at a score of 4.92, when I distinctly wrote "When green flag clicked, set accuracy score to zero," when I use Safari.

The project works fine though after loading.

Do you have Flash Player "enabled" ?

(If you want to, install Google Chrome instead and it would work)

I just want to update my Bug Report. In a new Bug Isolation project, I decided to see if the [go back (0.5) layers] was causing the "glitch" that I found, and in this project, I found that it wasn't the source of the problem. If you're wondering, here's the only script that I have in the new project:

when gf clicked
go to front
say [test.] for (2) secs
go back (0.2) layers
say [test..] for (2) secs
go back (0.4) layers
say [Done!] for (2) secs

Re: Report glitches in the Flash project player here!

Okay, this is REALLY frustrating. On my intro test project here, my logo seems to not want to hide for some odd reason. Open the code in scratch, and it works as planned, but on the internet, it will not hide and broadcast my following script!  mad

p.s.
Works in java, however, it is off time and laggy.  hmm
