Demos and Tutorials

For the next version of Scratch, I think there should be some Demo files. Games like a Pac-Man game or a Jigsaw Puzzle would be there, and those who are new to the Scratch program could explore the script, costumes and sprites, as well as the Paint-like program that allows you to decorate the stage, costumes, and create sprites. A Tutorial could also be added, explaining scripts, sprites, costumes, saving, uploading, the stage, and the other features of Scratch. They could also supply some music, for those who don't have a microphone, and a Login for your account on the program, so you can see your "My Stuff" page whenever you want, so you could upload a new avatar when your making a project! A mobile version would sound nice also be nice! Thanks!

Re: Demos and Tutorials

1. For the demo files, you could use the "Example Projects" file.

2. For the paint program, in 2.0 (next version) they'll have better graphics for the editor.

3. There are tutorials on the forums in FAQ and Questions about Scratch

4. They do have music, you just go into the sounds section and click import.

5. The mobile version has been suggestion many times, and every time, it was a no.

Hope I helped!  smile
