Ham. Besides the point, I actually like wood pigeons because they don't flock around you and they can find their own food.

i love those to!  i found an injured one in my garden the other day. we caught him in a box and found out he could still fly a bit but he had a chunk bitten out of his wing  sad  so we phoned  a bird hospital and they came to get him. we phoned up yesterday and found uot he had died... he survived a few days and they gave him painkillers and some water. i named him elvis.

Yeah, they come to our garden sometimes and I think it's because they have a nest in a large oak tree in my neighborhood.

well, that explains the pigeon sicking up your sandwhich! they don't eat meat. and with wood pigeons, they don't flock around you, and flocking is how i like it! (they liven up a city, and when i feed them, they seem to really appreciate it!! i also enjoy feedingt them to)

Well, I don't get the point of not feeding pigeons. Feed all birds. Like, we throw out oats and fruit, and have little feeders filled with peanuts, sunflower hearts and suet. :3

they aren't pests. the pigeons can't just go into a public loo. people would probably moan if they did. and there is a lake near me with, like 60 ducks and no-one moans! and i'v been feeding the pigeon since i was like, five. and i havent  caught a single disease from them. but once i hand-fed a squirrel and i got salmonella really bad. and people should stop being so obsessed with their stupid cars.

People don't want bird poop all over their cars, that does not mean they're obsessed with their cars. It's just plain gross.  hmm

why doesn't someone make paint that the poop doesn't damage then?

Try inventing that, then.

Recently there was a case where a family removed a pigoen nest as it was causing noise and droppings went everywhere. Not exactly the most healthy thing is it?

Did you read the other pages, there's a lot more good done when they aren't fed then when they are.
Pigeons have been surviving for millions of years without people feeding them.

Which will be an extra cost, no doubt, and not in every car.  And beyond that cars are not the only problem.

and also....
you poop to! and if you don't, go to the doctor  tongue

By feeding pigeons you are spreading the birds (and their poop) and encouraging them to reproduce more. I do poop, but not on streets and benches and statues. Also, are you saying that... just leaving poop around will magically create jobs? I thought that you meant it would create jobs that required people to wander around and clean up poop all day. And how many jobs could that create? Since it'd be dumb to just wander around scraping up every pigeon glob, would they follow around flocks of pigeons?
Also just because you can't catch the bubonic plague off them doesn't mean they're not bad for people. For instance, you can't catch the bubonic plague from eating uncooked chicken that's been sitting in the sun, but that doesn't make it OK.

Also, I liked the fact that the site you linked saying that various people said that pigeons are OK has literally no sources whatsoever.

you'v bee telling me to link so i have so you can't moan AT ME!!!!
and i'm a vegan so i don't eat that disgusting chicken anywayz.

i don't mean to look hypocritical here, nobody ever does
but maybe if you spelled words correctly and didn't add 'z''s to words you might be taken a little more seriously
second off
if somebody is asking you to link to a source that can confirm your arguments, that
doesn't mean link to any given website with no sources that can spout anything and say it's true
for example
it means link to a credible site that gives sources that can be checked
hmm

also just because you don't eat chicken doesn't make it bad
or 'yucky'
i believe lui was using uncooked chicken that has been left in the sun as an analogy
to mean that 'not everything you can't catch the bubonic plague from is OK'
