Hello there Scratchers of the advanced skills. Scratch 2.0 is adding in a lot of features that will bring projects to the next level. But some of you might not know this, but it is limitless to how much you can do. These are but a few things you can do with the new features.
1. Cloud variables and lists feature ideas.
*High-score leaderboards, achievements, and challenges
*High-tech social networks like Facebook, with about the same amount of functionality (yes! You can make VERY intricate social networks)
*Online clocks (have an app work as a tower, setting the times right, then carry the variables in the cloud using the backpack and create a time clock that can work without having to be manually set)
*Multiplayer games with infinite amounts of players (until they fill the screen, using online lists)
*Sync settings through the cloud from computer OS projects
*Make a cool internet with infinite pages and URL designations (can be done!)
*Make polls using Scratch applications
*Password protect projects and make them un-hackable by using the security systems implemented by Scratch (so you can make private things if you want/need to)
*Make a whole new Scratch (have projects be made using code that is stored in online variables and lists and let them be usable) (VERY ADVANCED)
*Newsfeed and/or blog that can auto-update
*Scratch-line stores
*More ideas that my brain just cannot think of right now!
2. Other features
*Truly HD graphics using Vector Graphic systems that are being implemented
*Motion detectors, kinect-style games, and more!
*And more that my brain just cannot think of right now!
So as you can see there is so much that Scratch 2.0 has to offer. But why isn't it published? In fact it looked almost complete... Tell them to hurry up!
So here is a preview at what you can do, so you can start now, add in the new stuff later. Start now! And read over these! You might just come up with a brilliant, popular idea (I know for a fact I have...)

what about scrolling features ? [/hint]
you can already do scrolling, I think.
he's referring to the new scrolling blocks in 2.0, which are much smoother and simpler than workarounds.

You can still do that! There is no disadvantage of 2.0...

Dang, don't keep all these suggestions obvious! I have thought of all these too (and more) but then when you get it all out, these types of things will be too common... I guess its not that bad, but I wouldn't do it if I were you...
