As for the answer to your question, I think it's a good assumption that bans will transfer over.

im pretty sure he didnt do it recently and would know better by now so theres really no point in complaining

Yeah, it was a couple months ago. I actually decided to be Kaj (because I knew that would result in an immediate ban). 
I thought that that thread was referring to at all, not just for that. Oh well, my bad.
