Hello scratcher! If you're here, then undoubtedly want to become a member. Well, seeing what I've seen of the forums, I can't let everyone in, though if you try hard, you'll get in. ;)
So, what you need to do to join is first say that you want to join. Then, either me or CAA14 will ask you for two ideas. Simple right? Well it is. :)
Now, once you give them, we'll give you some feedback so that you can improve, and then we'll tell you if you're in or not. You can always reapply. ;)
Anyway, if you'd like to do better on your ideas, here's an articles on ideas in general:
Article... *With Link* (To be Added)
Oh, and you probably already know not to do anything bad, but make sure to follow these rules:
- No crude humor.
- No vulgar material.
- No gore/Severe violence.
- No profanity.
- Nothing rude or offensive.
Golden Rule:
- No copying other peoples' ideas. Inspiration is good, but copying is not.

{Survey}
If you ever have the time, it'd be wonderful if you could fill this survey out.
Survey:
Do you have any suggestions?
In what direction do you think we're heading? Good or bad?
How do you like the layout so far? Is it disorganized and fowl, or neat and respectable?
Is there some way that I could make this more inviting and friendly, or is it good enough?
Overall, how do you find things?
Thanks for your time!

{Action}
Action games are games with lots of action in them, though they range in difficulty and theme. They're great if you're looking for something to do.

1). It's Christmas time (I know it isn't actually) and you want to go to a gift shop to buy a snow globe for your parents. So you walk over there. But when you want to walk in, you fall in deep pit. Suddenly, you realize that you're trapped in a snow globe! You have 1 hour to beat the entire game or else it will be too late and you would've been sold to a family already and you can never escape.
The levels will be inside of a snow globe, the snow will make your movement slippery. Also, you want to move around constantly or else you will be drowned in snow flakes and it will be very hard to move around. You'll fight enemies such as snowmen or other Christmas people with the snow you pick up on the ground.

2). Long ago, far away, a whole nine yards, (Your Character Here) was laying on the beach, without a care in the world. His home is an island called "Majorina".
The island grows tons and tons of beautiful fruit and all kinds of goodies.
As Character was laying there, he suddenly noticed a minor detail that complicates things just a little... A HUGE tsunami is coming!!!!! You must gather all the fruit and goodies you can and escape to the next level before time runs out!

{Animation}
Animations are great little projects that are fun to watch. They could be suspenseful movies, vivid paint programs, or just some complex (pun intended) math orientated art.

{Arcade}
Basically, arcade games are games that are really repetitive. Even though this might sound dull to you, some arcade games are pretty popular nowadays. For example, Temple Run is an arcade game.

{Puzzle}
Puzzles games are ones requiring thought to beat. I'm not talking about the ordinary thoughts that you think day-to-day, but ones where you have to go out of the box to beat the game.

{RPG}
An RPG is a thrilling game where you're taken to an entirely new universe to face the different challenges put in front of you. These often follow a set plot, though some are flexible.

1). You hace always been a fortunate tribe, out in the middle of no-where, needing nothing but the island that you live on. Now, one day, a great flock of boas speedily come from another island from your chain and smoke appears to be rising from it. You wonder, what could possibly be disturbing the calmness of their kind home? After asking one of the tribesmen, they tell you of the wild, evil beasts that plague their village, and he violently breaks down in mournful tears. This was so heart-breaking for you that you decide to make a commitment, a vow, to destroy whatever fiend is devastating the peace and hopes of the kind people. So, now you set out on a large quest to quench the flood of monsters to your home land and to survive a people as well.
Just to say, you're going to want to include a few villages/towns on the islands, though remember, the farther you get, the less people there are and the more vicious them creatures. Also, you might want to make it so that you have to complete a quest before you can get to the next island in series.

2). It is a peaceful day in the town of Dalesburg. The children are playing, the birds merrily cheeping, and the sky whole, bright, and blue, or at least for now. You were just entering your house when out of the dark sky, yes dark sky, bombs start reigning and UFO's flying around! Cows are being targeted, and people abducted! You quickly dash into your basement and try to stay as inconspicuous as possible, but that's not going to last forever and you know it. Imagining the torture you and the rest of the world could go through, you decide to take up action and fight this invasion. So, you must now single handedly repel the aliens and save the Earth from utter destruction.
You could make the goal of the aliens whatever you want. Wether it's to enslave the human race, to conquer the place, or to annihilate it, anything realistic would be good.

{Simple}
Simple ideas are perfect for scratchers just beginning or for any scratcher looking for a break from intense coding. These are meant to be like their names says: simple.

1). A game were there's 2 fish, a red type and a blue type.
When the game begins, if you aren't clicking, the blue fish chases you, and if you are, the red one does. Every, oh, 5 second another fish is put on the screen, that is either red or blue. Once a fish touches your mouse, it's game over.
Optional Game Modes:
- You can have a "Three hits and you're out" mode.
- A mode where the fish don't chase you, but every 5 seconds 2 more fish are added.
=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=
2). Goal: Do not let any falling objects touch the ground!
Gameplay:
- Just click on the object to "pop" it.
- Some objects give you things, like an extra heart, an explosion to take out a bunch of objects, of maybe a large mouse thing that gives you a much bigger clicking range.
Optional game modes:
- Instead of not letting any object touch the ground, just don't let the bombs touch the ground! If you do, you will lose 1 heart, and you start with three.

Question:
Is this shop going to be structured like the beta one, or the way it was before the beta one?
Regards,

Lol, if NL decides to do the arcade, I may use some of my ideas I posted here.

Ironic.
Well, this shop is going to be structured like the Beta one as soon as this weekend rolls by, though until then, it'll be as it is. Half regular and half Beta (which you can see if you scroll above ^^).

Okay,
Order Up!!!
Order: Waffle27
Idea #1: Broken Circle. RPG Overhead or side scroller.
Description:
In the kingdom of Trynam, The warriors that made up what is called, "The Circle" guarded the land. They were the peace keepers and guardians of the kingdom. But, they only kept their power if the Circle Alter was complete. For thousands of years, this Alter stood complete, and the Circle was allowed to fight with things like fire, ice, storms, wind, lightening, etc... But alas, some members of the circle let their greed carry them away, and they looted the city of Aurcerous, taking much wealth from the populace. To keep them from being captured and defeated, the rogue Warriors broke the alter and scattered the pieces across the lands. Now, with the circle broken, all manner of Darkness broke out, and lawlessness prevailed. You, young Ponoale(Pawn - oh - ale), must reclaim these pieces and restore the power to the circle, before it's to late.
Gameplay:
You must travel through different lands to restore the Alter, piece by piece. Each piece you restore grants you another power. You start with a weapon, and for the sake of more originality, how about a spike axe. At 1st, you have no power because the Alter is totally apart. But as you capture more and more pieces, more and more power is restored.
Options: You can have it so that he meets other Circle members, and they also get their power restored as you fix the Alter.
The Rest of the story is really up to you.
Idea #2: Johnny Appleseed. RPG overhead.
Description:
For a much less combat intensive RPG, here's Johnny Appleseed.
Johnny, no surprise, is a master at planting and raising fruit trees.
It's a fine morning on the farm, when a message comes from the city... All the fruit trees have died! And now, the populace are starving, as the animals have all been eaten!
Johnny rushes to the rescue, but along the way, he is given a vision in which his seeds are blessed to be able to grow extremely fast. In the vision, he is also told that he will find special seeds that actually can fight and defend other plants. Now you must go, and save the town!
Gameplay:
You must help the staving people. Different people will ask you to plant different things, and you must do it. But beware, a few evil animals remain to eat your plants! The animals are inedible, but they can be warded off by using special plants to shoot seeds and pollen and other things at them. You have an unlimited amount of apple seeds, but you must find orange, peach, mango, and any other fruit you would like's seeds.
Idea #3: Shardlings. RPG/Action. Overhead.
Description:
The shardlings have been living in the center of the earth for 100's of years, untouched, flourishing living rocks. But all of the sudden, strange creature have come...to mine them!
They must survive, but the only way they can defeat the creatures is to become a shard, which is more difficult than it sounds. You must dodge danger and find all the shard crystals to become a Shard.
Gameplay:
To equip a crystals, you must find it first, then just touch it. Each different color crystal allows you to do different things, like defeat certain enemies, walk through certain material, and the like. In order to have more than one, you must find and touch Black Ore. Touching a black ore will add one "Slot" to your character, which allows you to hold one more crystal at a time. Once you have a slot for each crystal, you have become a Shard, and must head back to the core of the Shardlings before it's to late. You must save the shardlings from being mined.
If you use any of these, please give credit to CAA14 for the idea design.
To be truthful, that last idea was almost kept and added to my personal idea stash.
What do you think?
Regards,
CAA14
