Why can't people just go to a regular heath insurance company? Why does it have to be ObamaCare?

Because they are often way too expensive. People who have low-paying jobs and can't get better ones often can hardly afford food to survive, let alone health insurance.

How high is regular insurance and how low is ObamaCare?

Cool, so is mine. I live in an area of a bunch of rich people.
However, I do see a couple Obama signs in the area, and not too far away, there are a lot of Obama signs, from people who want to move forward.

Also, the blank post was because of the quote depth limit. It wasn't my fault.

Well, I'd prefer the person I was originally asking to answer, plus I already know that you are strongly in favor of Obama. And no, I won't attack you for this one. I was just telling them to stop blank-posting.

Wait, there's a quote depth limit?

Yes, forward towards a worse economy, less jobs, and MUCH higher debt.

I don't know the exact numbers, but my parents say that regular health insurance is a burden for those that are still healthy (like still pretty young, in good shape, don't have any genetic defects, etc.), but it gets really expensive for anyone else besides that. ObamaCare is designed to be cheaper, and doesn't have huge price increases for pre-existing conditions.

Yeah, there is a depth limit. I forgot about it, so that's why it became a blank post.

In case you've missed the last 53 pages, Romney is the one who will kill the economy. He plans to get rid of stuff like food stamps in favor for big tax cuts for the rich. So, those people that needed food stamps now have pretty much no hope of a job while the rich people still do nothing with their money. We have already established that top-down economics SIMPLY DO NOT WORK.
As for the debt, Romney plans to cut taxes massively and increase military spending that they don't even want.

You're being kind of selfish there. There are people much less well off than you who can't get healthcare, and you are saying that they shouldn't get the healthcare that they need. Think about it, by removing the law, you are causing people to die because they can't get health insurance.

Wait, why couldn't they get regular healthcare? It's not like they HAVE to get ObamaCare or they will die...

What do you think ObamaCare does? (Just Wondering)

If you can't afford healthcare and you have a chronic illness like early onset (or just normal) arthritis that makes you unable to work, it just gets worse, which makes you even less able to work, which leads to not being able to afford food and bills, which basically leads to, if not death directly, then at least abject poverty and a really short, painful lifespan.

also it's "prideful," not "proudful"

edit: also genetic defects might cause this if you are poor

It's their own fault that people are poor. If they went to College, studied hard, they most-likely would not be poor. Unless of course they live in a city/state that does not have many jobs available.

Most of the rich people in the world have worked hard, therefore they are successful.

Most of the poor people in the world did not go to college, and/or are lazy. Therefore, they are poor.

Often, it is NOT your own fault if you are poor. Often, the poor people are a result of being poor parents, so they spend all of their time doing stuff like looking for food to survive, and then nobody wants to hire them for a job. It can also be a result of a mental illness, and if you are born with mental problems, that's not your fault. Those people often can't go to college, and they work really hard, but they aren't lazy for the reasons I stated above. HOW DARE YOU tell who are born to poor parents and have to spend all of their time looking for food to survive, and don't have time to worry about college because of that that it's their fault! HOW DARE YOU tell people born with mental illnesses that it's their fault!

LOLOLOL

I believe most poor people in the world CAN'T go to college. It requires a thing called a lot of money. You can't expect even some of the brightest, most hard-working people to get full ride academic scholarships.

Also, it's really difficult to simply get a job right now as well. They could be applying left and right and still get stuck without one.

If I remember correctly, "Romnesia" refers to Mitt Romney continually changing his opinion, not to the amount of supporters he has in a given area.

No, it's not. Obama said "Now we have Romnesia!" So I was saying that Scratch has Obamagitis. Meaning that more and more users on Scratch are for Obama. It's like a disease spreading around Scratch!

He's changed his position on 99% of things multiple times. The only thing that's stayed consistent was the idea of the top 1% playing by a different set of rules.
