Hi, i'm very glad you are here. As you might know, the Black Crowes are a great underrated rock band with a few well-known songs. To show my love for the band, i will be doing reviews of all their album reviews every Saturday in chronological order.
Stay tuned, folks!
REVIEW LIST
9/29/12-Shake Your Money Maker
Anyways, on with the review. This was the Black Crowes' first album. This album is what started such a great band. It was released 1990 or 1991 (i think.) and where they started their career.
This album is present for one of their biggest hits "Jealous Again" which is quite well known, but still remains quite minor amongst rock fans. More noticable tracks is their cover of Otis Redding's (i think) song "Hard To Handle" which became quite well known, which a cover of the cover got on Guitar Hero Areosmith (It was the whole reason my dad bought the game ) and a step out of their standard song comes "She Speaks To Angels" which is a love song (Not the best Crowes' love song, though. You'll figure out that later)
Also, some of the more lesser known tracks are good like "Stuttrin' Blues" and "Twice as Hard"
OVERALL RATING: 8/10
Anyways, stay tuned for next week's review for their next album "Southern Harmony"
(the title is longer, but i forgot the rest, oh well)
