Sega is mostly known for their hit Sonic franchise. But, they also have another franchise that's something of a hidden gem - the Super Monkey Ball series.

I'm sure you've heard of it at some point - for example, that medicore "Banana Blitz" game on the Wii, that focused more on quantity over quality. But, the games I'm talking about are the games from the Cube - "Super Monkey Ball" and "Super Monkey Ball 2". The ultimate classics.

For those not in the know, the game usually revolves around monkeys in hamster balls (yeah, I don't get it) running around obstacle courses. Oh pfft, that all sounds perfectly normal for a monkey in a hamster ball to be running around obstacle courses that try to kill you with every move you make! Surely, there's a villain we can add.

Oh ho, how could I forget! We have Dr. Badboon! He's the mastermind behind these hazardous labyrinths, and he wants nothing but to destroy the monkey race and become supreme leader. Did I mention he's evil?

Now, I don't usually rant about video games, but...this is hackin' awesome.
