Wow, that's pretty harsh. Sure, you may not like it, but you should at least be respectful of all the work that they've put into it.

I respect all the work they put into it, but is just looks kinda … odd.

Going off the open alpha from May, it did look pretty good.
They've probably changed it since then though, so I dunno.

I think it'd be cool if someone created and hosted a site with ScratchR for all the people who didn't want to transition, but it'd cost a bunch because you can't do ScratchR with a free host.

I am hosting my own copy of ScratchR, but it's only for personal use (e.g. seeing how some stuff is coded).

If somebody wants to try making their own, you can use veggieman001's awesome tutorial, but if you want to make the database stuff easier, I can just export mine.

I don't have wInDoWs.

You can do it with Mac OS and Linux too, it's just some different OS-specific stuff.
