The Scratch Forums Ban
Oh no! The Scratch Forum Ban is back! Today, when i clicked on Scratch Forums, or topics, there were a few times when it brought me to a page: You have been banned for disrespectful remarks on the forums, or something like that. Can someone tell me if that is a bug or is it me really being banned? I don't remember using disrespectful language in the forums, except for the time, yesterday, when i angrily typed in capital letters to a commercial spammer called doerting, whose only 5-7 posts in the forums were spamming something for sale, blah blah blah. So please help! And if im supposed to be banned, please tell me, i will stop using this account in the forums. (And if there is a ban going on, it is definitely not working effectively with me.)
So in conclusion, im reporting either that i can access the forums everywhere when im banned, or i get banned when i use the forums.

I tried to browse the Scratch forums on an iPod but found it difficult.
I have never seen this banning issue before, however, if it uses IP adresses then proxies could be a solution.

They can do both. And proxies definitely are a solution to ip band

Did you click any funny links in sigs? There recently started a trend of linking to the banned page.
Also, try clicking one of the header links. If those work, then you were pranked.

There are 3 (I think) types of bans, namely, the main site ban, banning you from everywhere, the main forums ban, and the TBGs ban.
So you're on the main forums ban.
It's genuine.

1) I am not saying you. There may be other spammers using the IPs around here and you happened to have the same IP. But you didn't spam, I'm sure.
2) They must have banned the IP, and yours changed, thus allowing you to access the forums. (Sounds like an answer to a question for Science. XP)

i did. remember there was a rumour that i used 77 proxies? yeah, that was the period where i got banned. i contacted the scratch team, but they said i was not banned, only the server was. yes. i kept getting banned because of proxy servers. and i have never used proxies. if there was a way to prove it,i would!

oh, you mean you want me to post a video on how i upvote myself on ScratchRank? Tell me how proxies work? Or how do you use a proxy?

Of how you were banned and clicked "Refresh" and was unbanned. That may let the Scratch Team know what's happening.
