Re: Les Miserables

The TITLE is in French, but I saw the Broadway version live and it's in English  tongue

It's about this criminal who was sold into slavery, but escapes it and finds out he has a daughter and a lot of stuff happens and yeah. A lot of the plot I really couldn't say on Scratch but I saw it in 7th Grade with the Band.

It's really good though.

It's not Valjean's daughter, it's his niece.

Re: Les Miserables

Wow, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw there was a thread for this. My mom puts on tracks from the musical all the time when we're driving in the car.

Book sounds like it may be boring IMO.

See the newest movie version of the Broadway play if you want to watch it.

I just checked out the English book from the library!

...what? I like to read. It's only like 1,222 pages (I've read longer)

It does have.... non-discuss-able stuff, though.  But it's good.

Its a good movie, tells everything accurately, and has a happy ending! (Inspector Javert suicide)
