I have an idea for some sort of fuel, if this world will have technology of some sort-
Luminoil [Loo-min-oy-ull, Illuminating Oil]
A cheap fuel that runs burns quickly, but there are mass amounts of it underground. It is easily recognized because it glows dimly underground.
Awesome Idea. Who will burn it though? I guess we can just leave it underground for a bit. How deep will it be underground, bearing in mind the planet it about 10.5 times bigger than earth.

Nobody did gravity?
The gravity, even though it's a large planet, is low, because it's far from the sun. This means that the huge animals can glide with their retractable.... skin flaps?

Gravity does not get low when far away from the Sun!
Gravity is based solely on the mass of the object! We both have gravity fields, but our mass is so tiny they don't literally pick things up and land them on us.
The Sun's gravity is what causes orbit, but it won't change your planet's gravitational pulling of other objects.

Lol soup's right. It's gonna be very strong but it doesn't matter because everything will be adapted and used to it. So we can just act as if it's normal earth gravity.

Oh sorry. T_T
HOW DID I IMAGINE THAT GRAVITY DEPENDED ON THAT??????

The Moo is a deeply complex and evasive creature that dwells in forest regions that snow in the winter. Little is known of its habits and suchlike, but they are famous for their ominous cry of “moo!” that resounds very very ominously throughout all forests in which they inhabit. There are so many of them that it is theorized they just spontaneously generate, or are born in litters of about thirty-nineish. Moos are known to eat eggs from the egg tree, which is another thing I am adding to this ecosystem. It’s a palm tree except it lays eggs instead of coconuts which hatch into more egg trees. Moos are the only creatures that can eat them though. They also move around by hopping.

Unicorn snail
Beautiful beautiful sluglike animals that dwell in rotted egg trees in the forest
Known food source for Moos
They use their single horn to puncture prey, like smaller slugs
Cannibals naturally

That's not how gravity works.
The larger the object, the more gravity.

NOW I like the moo idea. I take back what I said before.

Actually, the more mass it has, the more gravity it has.
So it could have a lot of volume, but little density, which makes it have less gravity then something denser.
But yours is good enough unless the planet is made from a very notdense material

I guess since it's so cheap, Luminoil would be found just beneath the surface, and maybe in puddles inside caves? It'd be cool to see puddles of glowing liquid inside caves.
As for who uses it, I think it'd be nice if when we have a good list of creatures, pick a few that are to evolve into the superior race, like monkeys evolved into humans. Then we can kill some of the races off, as well as eliminate some resources. Then eventually we can end the world

A new member of the Gelu(Frost) genus!
Gelu Aedificatoris
aka
The Frost Builder.
This plant uses a similar protein that the Frost Drinker does to create a dome around itself, protecting it from predators. The protein has small changes though, so it can't hold minerals, has no odor or taste, but in turn is much stronger. The plant has many chloroplasts, since the sun is far away.

Speaking of the sun- what is it like? Are there any other nearby planets? Do we have a moon?
Also, will we have different eons and time periods like ancient civilizations and prehistoric times?

Moon... How about four moons! One water, another surrounded by gasses, a rocky one, and one covered in lava!

There are three moons that appear in the nighttime. When looking at them they go Small, Medium, Large from left to right.
The moons are home to ecosystems of Snorks. Large slimy creatures with 6 legs that rely on minerals not found on the main planet for their food and survival. Instead, they need to sustain themselves with the thick oozy liquid that seeps out of craters in the surface of the moons.

Nah, I think just a regular moon or no moon would be fine.

Maybe we can mix our ideas together and have elemental Snorks?

holy snap snorks are the less popular smurfs rip off
So yeah it will need a name change
but IMO random things somehow ending up elemental feels a bit forced? Idk, you can use the elemental idea but I don't know about using it on the (need to be renamed) Snorks.

Well, at least make it realistic and have some things go extinct.
