Internet explorer 9, running windows 7.
Now nothing will load! Either that, or it is taking WAY too long. We need a loading bar!

I'm using IE 8, on Windows XP, and my flash is v. 11.4.402.265.
The problem is that my fourth Tanks game doesn't work anymore. When you get into the game, the enemies, and anything else that isn't you or the stage, refuses to show up. Also, in the second level, there is a maze, but it won't work, you can only go right, and it still goes through everything, and the walls have no effect. I'm going to check my other games, and see if it does the same thing. Here's the link, http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/sonicfan12p/2737723
Just checked out my 3rd game, same problem, except there's no maze. It's here. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/sonicfan12p/2537327
Chacked the second one, but although enemies did not appear, they still blew up my tank. Makes it more challenging, impossible in fact. That one is here. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/sonicfan12p/2473059
My first Tank game is actually working fine, oddly enough.

Hello! I'm taking your advice and am posting the annoying "stuff not goin back when it should" glitch.
Your computer's Operating System: Windows XP
Your web browser's name and version: Firefox 13?
Flash version: 11.3.300.265...
Description of Problem: Loot item does not essentially go to back when told to. This is a critical aspect of the game as you use a metal/item detector to find said loot. The other loot item does however. (This is strangely fixed in the next version...???)

For whatever reason, loading projects takes longer than I was used to. At least, as far as I can tell.
Example of slower-loading project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/ubrecma/2733559
[Edit by Johnm: Could be that the server was slow when you tried it. When I tried it, this project loaded faster in the Flash player than in the Java one. Could you try it again?]
@Johnm - I haven't observed this to be the case anymore. Sorry for the late reply, this doesn't really seem to be a bug at all.

Even though it is hard to tell without any updates from the development team in over a week, we must trust that they are making progress toward the 2.0 release. Just give them time.

Operating system:vista 32 bit
Flash version: 11.3.31.232
Problem:
In the (currently default) flash player projects like this one
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/comix6epicball/2457864
do not work full-screen.
They project goes very slow and is jumpy. It works on the previous version of the flash player.

The player is not handling the stamping elements. so sort of wrecking them.
i am running xp home edition, and using mozilla firefox and have recently updated the flash media player i run on the laptop i am viewing these projects from.
anyway for me it is a serious glitch.

Why don't you guys change the player back to one that works? Or should we all wait and use the not-so-good Java version while you are finding out why this one doesn't work?
Well they can't get to all the bugs if they themselves do it alone.

Looks like this is a problem with the sensing block - the stage background number is being returned as zero in all cases (regardless of what the actual background number is set to). I've got an isolating test case right here.

[Edit by Lightnin: Confirmed. Need to figure out what's causing it to fail. If someone would like to try to break this project into pieces to see which causes the failure, that'd be great! Thanks for the report!]
[Edit by Johnm: It gets an error when loading. Will investigate.]
Well, thanks...
You dont get a white screen anymore, and you can see the main menu, but you cant click anything...

Never mind I'll just use variables.

Hmmm. I'm not seeing this problem on my browser. Perhaps you need to set the keyboard focus on the project by clicking your mouse on it first?

Hey folks...a new version of the player was loaded up! It fixes the stage background sensing block bug and a font problem with Windows that was causing some variable reporters to chop off the bottom of variable values.
You might want to rerun your projects and see if any of them have been "cured" with this most recent release. Thanks for your help debugging

Awesome! We suspect the background reporter always reports 0 glitch was causing a lot of other strange problems. If you reported a bug previously, please test again and let us know if it's still there!
chongyian wrote:

Last night, about 11:30. If you open up a project page, and hit ctrl-shift-R, you should get the new player (it may look blank for about 15 secs or more while it downloads - but give it time, especially if your internet is slow!).

Hopefully this last round of fixes caught most of the glitches!
