Music?

I've seen songs in people's projects.  Is there a place where I can download free songs?  Legally?  For a Scratch project?  I'd prefer a more experienced Scratcher to answer, as in one who's been on the site over a month.

I probably have done that too. You can go to Scratch Resources and get music, sprites and backgrounds.

Click this on April 15th to see the new album from The 10th Dimension!

Re: Music?

You can't get, like, commercial songs legally for free.

Re: Music?

I believe you download a song to ITunes, export the song to the desktop, and then you open up Scratch (Program) and go to a sprite's sounds and click import. And so you select Desktop on the left and so you select it and you've got your song!

Otherwise, if it's kind of hard or doesn't work very well, then just go to another person's project, download it, export the song you want in your project and there you have it! Just give the person credit though.
