Forget LOTR, Star Wars, or BTTF. Toy Story, man.    The first movie was the first film I had ever watched--I was four months old when I first saw it. I still have my old VHS copy of the first movie, and watch the entire trilogy pretty much every month.

Also, I saw the third movie in its midnight premiere. The theater was packed like crazy, and I had to sit in the front, but it was totally worth it. I probably saw the third movie like five times in the theater alone. 

They're good, but they can't hold up to serious movies like LOTR and Star Wars, or the superior comedy of BTTF (the first BTTF anyway, the trilogy as a whole is meh).

It's not like I don't like LOTR and Star Wars, they're both completely awesomesauce in their own special way. But Toy Story actually REALLY holds a special place in my heart.

I saw Toy Story when I was literally four mounths old. I'd watch the first movie every single freaking day. I think my parents even took me to see the second movie in the theater, but I dunno.

I saw Star Wars much later, when I was six. I loved it, a lot.

Then I saw BTTF when I was nine. And I actually liked the entire trilogy as a whole. I thought they were all awesome--my favorite one is Part II. 

I saw LOTR when I was eleven. And I thought it kicked Toy Story's butt for miles. Which it did.

And there's a whole bunch of trilogies I've seen, just to name a few.

I'm getting offtopic here, but Toy Story is just...one of those movies that will hold a place on this planet forever. So will LOTR and Star Wars, but Toy Story, man. (I know I'm being a total fanboy here, but still.)

By the way, why do you think the Toy Story trilogy isn't "serious"? Just because they have comedy in them, and they're animated, makes them not serious?
