It would be nice to not wait 3 minutes between every post, people like answers and replies fast.
What I would suggest is adding to where if a user posts too many threads/replies in a certain time period, then they would have to wait 3 minutes.

well you have the 180 second rule because you're a new scratcher
its to prevent massive amounts of spam
just stay on the site, upload some stuff, and post some comments. then you'll only have the 60 second rule

I also believe this has been suggested before, and it's clear that it's not going anywhere.
Just upload more projects and generally be active and you'll only have to wait a minute between posts.

May I direct your attenion to this thread? Post 12 has some interesting info in it you may want to see, although I would like it confirmed before fully believing it.

No way it'll happen anytime soon.
I don't think comments like that are really helpful =S
The 60/180-Seconds rule does make sense to me. It also wants you to take some time, to answer questions. Not just post NO!!! and thats that... Ofc some questions can be anwered with a few simple lines, still it would not make the quality of the discussions any better, if people could post things they wrote within a few seconds and don't have to wait at all.
