I think you should get all the records that had the competitors before going to the olimpic games... then create the simulation and multiply these record for each contestant by 0.9 / 1 / 1.05. all at random. after the 42 jumps, 12 have to go to the finals, so sort these jumps and clasify the 12 better with the names of the competitor that did each. after that do 3 jumps each and clasify the 8 better. and then 3 more jumps to get the gold, silver and bronce medal... and if you want.. the WR and OR... the only thing i don't know is how to sort and arrenge the marks with the name of the competitors.. there is the big deal
