That was standard for its time. The only handheld that bested it (That I know of) was the Atari Lynx, though the screen had problems. This shouldn't have affected the game's rating at all because it did the best it could in terms of graphics with such limitations. R/G/B/Y and G/S/C are definately in my top 25 games, plus Pokemon Silver was my first game.
It didnt affect the rating at all.
The Game Gear, the Turbo Express and the Sega Nomad were all more powerful at the time, the Atari Lynx was just released along side it, but these were all in there with the intention of taking down the Gameboy.

Hot Wheels StuntTrackChallenge Review (for PS2) might be in by tommorow. Be sure to include the rating scale I gave to you at the end of Issue 8. I think it would be awesome. BTW, what happened to Gamer News (or whatever you call it) ?

I'm a Nintendo fanboy, but I loathe Pokemon, especially now that the idea is stale and they're still making games.

Just ignore anything above Gen 2. I love the first two generations, but I do agree with you.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y:
Platform(s): Nintendo 3DS
Release Date: October 2013 (Worldwide)
It was announced that, on January 8th, there would be an announcement about 'something big'. There were many different guesses made by people on what the announcement be about. Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald remake, Gen VI, or Wii U games. When the announcement came, many people were shocked that Gen VI will come so early, as Black 2 and White 2 only came out last year, and Black and White only came out 3 years ago.
As expected however, the games are coming to Nintendo's latest handheld, the Nintendo 3DS. This was not a suprise at all as the 3DS has been out for 2 years. The games are in 3D, rather than 2D of all of the previous main-series titles. This means that everything is rendered in 3D, rather than using sprites.
The starters where revealed in the trailer shown, Chespin, the grass type, Fennekin, the fire type and Froakie, the water type. The mascots for both games were also revealed, Xerneas for X and Yveltal for Y. Little else is known about them.
The location of the games seem to be based on Europe, with the Eiffel Tower being seen in the trailer. Some other locations seen where a possible Bug and possible Fire gym.
One last big point is that, for the first time, the games will be released everywhere simultaneously so no extra wait after the Japan release.
That's all that is known about the new games so far. Be sure to check back in future for more info and a review of the game when it comes in October!

The Scratch Gaming Scale (From 10 to 1) 10- Amazing! One for the ages! 9- Almost Perfect. Keep it up! 8- Alright. Some things are fun. 7- Just OK... 6- Can use some touch-up, but ok. 5- Hm... A little blah. 4- Updatemania 4 U. 3- Blah. 2- Flawed/Broken. 1- Kaj the hacker. Remember him? 0- Anti-Brony. (sigh)
Found the scale AGAIN. I will repost my Gamer News post soon.

Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2013 announced!
Konami Games has announced a new World Championship (on the DS, 3DS, or Wii U: It is currently not known) coming soon! As you would expect, the new cast from Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXaL is inside the game. Plus, there could be 3 cards inside. But, as time comes to it, would it be worth playing?

HOT WHEELS StuntTrackChallenge Review
Slogan at the time: BEAT THAT!
THQ and Climax's STC is a really cool game with an amazing game show-like game. The game takes 8-10 hours to unlock everything in the Game Show (where you start from) and 5 extra hours of Multi-Player fun when you have a friend. There are 6 shows (with 2 Game Breaks, 4 challenges (maybe more), and 2 races) and if you get 1st place, not only do you get a gold trophy, but an all new HotWheels Car (MS-T Suzuka, HW Prototype 12, Overboard 454). The winning prize for getting all Gold in all shows is a secret car. To unlock that car, play through the Game Show, hit the boost, land on those shortcuts, hit the Zip Strip, and "Get ready to play, STUNT TRACK CHALLENGE!" (Announcer Character: Ryan Storm, Camera: Race Cam)
9.9/10

From the number of reviews we got, I can tell that this next mag will be the best yet.
