Computer class usually ends up consisting solely of typing. :/

A few days ago, my teacher asked the class "We're going to use Publisher to do our brochure. Is anyone computer savvy and know how to use it?"

Sadly, I have the home and student version of MS Office, so I didn't have it, so I said.

"I don't have it, but could I use Gimp? It's free, and better than publisher."

And the teacher decided it's ok big_smile

Exactly. I'm just glad I don't have to learn powerpoint xD

I'm surprised they even decided to teach you Publisher.

I'dmuch rather 'learn' something professional like InDesign if that's what you men.

You should use Scribus.

I recently went on my forums (punbb-hosted) during school, and I got like 7 people asking me if that was my website and how I made it.
Also, I got bored during computer lab so I made a pointless Word document with alt codes and everyone around me asked how I did that.

My friend's forums got messed up and I start telling her the html to fix it (she edited the templates on her punbb hosted forum without knowing what to do and messed up the css) and she was totally confused.
