It's still getting 20,000,000 views a day. Wow.
I don't get why everyone likes it so much. Could this be because I have no idea what he's saying? :p

I know a more famous youtube vid: Nyan Cat! *meew*
But, I do like the song. Especially the parodies of it. They're so fuuny. HEEEEEYYYY, SEXXY PIGGGY, Op opo opop OPPA MINECRAFT STYLE!
and... Heeeeeeey sexxy lady, op op opopop we got Eton style. :3 The parodies are funny. I thought of one to do with Chess, because I was bored and was watching two people play chess "Heeeeyyy sexxy bishop, op opopop op oppa chessman style"... I should be quiet now.

the problem with gangam style is that nobody in america really knows what the lyrics mean which really just makes the song a catchy tune and completely gets rid of anything psy was trying to say with the song

no, not at all
Gangnam is a wealthy neighborhood in the South Korean city of Seoul where young people go to party. In the song, Psy describes the kind of guy he is and the kind of girl he wants, painting caricatures of the ostentatious culture of people who hang out in Gangnam.
As The Atlantic pointed out in an in-depth article last month, behind the flashy costumes and killer dance moves in Psy's video, there's a subtle commentary on class in South Korea.

My best friend, who's Korean, basically told me what the whole song meant anyway. He's memorized the whole song (in Korean). The thing that really peeves him off about the song is that almost no one knows what the actual song lyrics are.

1. It's Oppan, not Oppa. Oppan means brother is, oppa means brother
2. The song is too good for parodies. I personally strongly dislike minecraft style

I disagree with the red part. This song grates on my nerves.
I agree with the second part though. That song is even worse.

I found the English translation, which is pretty much a bunch of Engrish (a real translation, not a buffalax) and the first part goes like this:
(copied this from a lyrics website)
A girl who is warm and humanle during the day
A classy girl who know how to enjoy the freedom of a cup of coffee
A girl whose heart gets hotter when night comes
A girl with that kind of twist
I’m a guy
A guy who is as warm as you during the day
A guy who one-shots his coffee before it even cools down
A guy whose heart bursts when night comes
That kind of guy
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Now let’s go until the end
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style

I absolutely hate Gangnam style. Most of the people in my class love it but I hate it because it is rubbish and overrated and computerized. Motörhead is way better.
