Because I was inspired to do this a couple seconds ago.
Remember the first console war that was an actual war? The one we all remember? The one we enjoyed? The time where we thought Blast Processing actually existed?
This is the topic to relive this. It's the Blast Processor vs the Mode 7 Monster (lolwut?) showdown. Oh, and let's not forget the TurboGrafx-16. That was also cool.
Now what we need is an adapter that plugs into the Sega CD slot on the Genesis and the EXT port on the SNES to fuse the two together. That'd be awesome.
Prepare for a 90s storm...

Despide the fact that this sound wholly awesome, just what exactly would it do?

Did you just ask for clarification of something you said?

SNES = Best graphics
Genesis = Best music
imo
SNES having good graphics is undeniable. The music is where it gets tricky. The different sound systems led to two different kinds of music styles. However, liking Genesis music over SNES music is okay. To weigh in my opinion, Moonwalker has the best Genesis music overall.

Genesis.

The Genesis is really good, but the SNES is just plain AWESOME.
The SNES had a better controller in my opinion. The Genesis controller had the buttons stuck together, which means I gotta hop my thumb from one button to another.
The SNES controller had the buttons on an angle, all the buttons are there where you want them to be.
The sound effects and music on the SNES are Amazing. There's no doubt that te SNES has one Of the best Video game music ever. I will admit, some games sounded better on the Genesis (Earthworm Jim). The Moonwalker music is also great, but the SNES just has better music in my opinion.
Then there's the FANTASTIC game lineup. The Genesis had Sonic, Moonwalker, Bloodlines, and the best version of Ghostbusters. Not to mention a lot of sports games. The SNES had Super Mario World, Star fox, F-Zero, The Donkey Kong County trilogy, and the best version of Sims City. It really depends on what games you're comparing. But The SNES has a great lineup of RPGs (The Genesis did too, but the SNES ones were fantastic), Contra 4, Turtles in Time, and Killer Instinct.
I'd rather pick an SNES than a Genesis, but both can be described as "one of the greatest consoles ever made".

The Super Nintendo had a far better lineup, and that's all that really matters in this case, because at this point in time there were so many exclusives. Super Metroid, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, et cetera are among by far the best games of all time.

I grew up on the SNES, so...
I'm picking that.

I thought you meant you grew up with it when it came out like most people do when they say that.

Yeah, the AVGN video was pretty much my opinion. That is why they are similar.
