Scratch 1.4.0.6 not working on my computer.

It may just be that my PC has laptop parts, but 1.4.0.6 has some problems. I use the new Ubuntu 12.04. The 1.4.0.6 will not work when you adjust the window. Full screen, it will black out, when getting out of full screen, it will shrink till it is a sliver. I can't go to back to the better 1.4.0.1, The software center won't let me. When just opened, it works fine, until you adjust the window. It drives me bonkers that my work space on scratch is smaller. Is there anything that might tell why this is?

It really isn't a laptop, but it has laptop parts. It is a Zotac Mag

Ubuntu is the only os that can run 1.4.0.6

It is in the tool bar to the left, so basically, it is in desktop.

hey I got Ubuntu 12.0.4 and I have the same problem. I tried reinstalling it but still had
the same problem.
