Messages Related to Forums

to avoid confusion, im not talking about messages that can be viewed on the forums. what im talking about is if your post or comment is replied to the forums like what happens on the main site.

that way, to know if someone posted on your thread you dont have to search everything or check the posts to see if someone posted on your thread or replied.

i think it would be easier. i dont know if this is resolved already because it wasnt mentioned getting messages about replies since i only saw that if you can view messages in forums.

if you say no, i understand. ive heard about the messages which are not deleted. but im only suggesting this so it will be easier.

I don't support. You can already identify whether your topic has any new replies by looking at the blue square indicators.

I always bookmark my topics too.

I do not support.
Just click on 'show your posts'.
Threads with new replies will be bold and have a blue square beside it.

But, on other people's threads, you don't know if they have replied to your post, or someone elses. That's why this is a good idea.

Re: Messages Related to Forums

I do not support, like I said on some other topic about this same thing, people who post a lot will be absolutely swamped with new messages. Probably every day there are at least 200 new posts on topics I have posted on. I dont have the energy to sort through them all, and its easier just to look at the blue box indicator. Also all these messages will certainly use up lots of server space.

it really doesnt take that much time to scan through the topic seeing if you've been replied to or not. Generally theres only like 10 or so new posts.
