Hi Scratch Team,
- My username is Mazdafreak.
- I made this account about two weeks ago, and I'm still a New Scratcher. I don't have anything against that, but...
- I have a previous account on Scratch (Footballnut) and I am listed as a Scratcher with that account.
Maybe, when you sign up for an account, there should be a "Previous Account" space? You would have to prove you are that same user (which could be solved simply by your e-mail address being identical with both accounts) but that way, if you were a Scratcher in a previous account, you could continue without having a near month-long wait (depending upon how active you are) to be upgraded to Scratcher.
I am not trying to unjustly become a Scratcher, I was just wondering if this had ever been considered.
What do you think?

Actually, the Scratch Team doesn't want alternate Scratch accounts to be able to automatically gain Scratcher status - they'd rather you earn it separately.

And that wouldn't work because I'm pretty sure everyone here knows my email so they could just enter that.

I sure don't know your e-mail.

He was exaggerating; probably 1 in 50,000 Scratchers here know his email.

Besides you could verify it using the old password instead.
I don't see why it's not allowed, but if they have their reasons, they're probably good ones.
