Help pleeeeeease!!!!

Okay, so, I have no microphone.
I want to record sound/audio.
I have a video I recorded with Hypercam.
It's a character saying "It's a box, yay, it's a box its a crate!!!"
But when I try to import it, it wont show up.
I try to record it, it records no audio/sound at all.
I move the video/audio to another folder, but I can't see it.
What am I doin' wrong?

This should be in help with scripts really. Don't stress over it. We've all posted a topic in the wrong forum at some time.

The reason it won't work is because you are recording video. If you have an iPod touch/iPad/iPhone there should be a pre-downloaded voice recorder app.

Re: Help pleeeeeease!!!!

There's no option to import video into Scratch - so you need to find a way to just record the audio in an audio format like WAV or MP3.  If you used Hypercam, and it got the sound you want, then you must have a microphone somewhere on your computer.  You just need to find where it is and find a sound recording application, like Audacity.  You can use Scratch to record the sound directly - but I've had quality issues when I do that.  You can try it though  smile
