Re: Translate the sentence "Hello and Welcome to Scratch"

Considering that there are loads of Afrikaans scratchers out there here's the translation for it in Afrikaans;

Afrikaans - Goeie dag en welkom na Scratch !

Re: Translate the sentence "Hello and Welcome to Scratch"

Ok, the first version of the Project is online! Please, could you "spot my mistakes"? I don't speak English fluently and I think, there are a lot of spelling and grammar errors in the project!

More translations are welcome!

Re: Translate the sentence "Hello and Welcome to Scratch"

I believe this is the Portuguese translation: Olá e bem vindos a Scratch!
(Scratch is a name, so it's not translated)

Great idea by the way.

Re: Translate the sentence "Hello and Welcome to Scratch"

Mathematical translation:

          Hello and welcome to Scratch

(Please tell me if you get it)

Also, why do some lines have an exclamation mark where others don't?

I think this is more accurate: Bonjour, et bienvenue à Scratch! What you wrote means "welcome on Scratch".

What do you mean with mathematical translation?

In math, you have rotations, reflections, and translations. Rotation rotates something around a point, reflection reflects something across a line, and translation just moves something without turning it. I moved the sentence.
