Maybe I won't listen to Beatles every minute of my life when I grow up, but I'll still like them! Also Beatles have so many songs that it's hard to get tired of them when you have the whole collection, and maybe even the anthologies
Wouldn't it be even easier to get tired of them since you'd be familiar with all their songs and not have anything new to discover later on?
Yeah, that's when I started wearing them out. I mean, I still love them - they're the ones who got me into music in general - but when there's nothing new to find out about, it can get a bit old.

I'm gonna update my list.
At the moment, I seem to completely adore Muse and Local H, the H is very relevant to me and generally perfected rock, and Muse is Muse.
I actually just went to a Muse concert yesterday. They were great.
I listen to albums more than songs, and I tend to judge bands by the quality of their full albums now. So there are also many bands that I consider one album wonders that I listen to a ton, but just their one album. So the bands I consider my favorites have made great albums consistently.
I also just stopped being obsessed with Weezer, but that keeps coming back every now and then. I listen to the radio a lot.

Me too. Ours gets kind of tiring though. They like playing the same things over and over. I've heard some Passion Pit song probably three times a day since it blew up, and Mumford and Sons and Mumford and Sons and Mumford and Sons and Fun. and Mumford and Sons, then some songs from the 90s then Passion Pit then Mumford and Sons
>:(
I like a lot of weird indie rock so I don't really expect to hear any of my already-established favourites but I do expect to hear something other than the same few bands. They used to play "Madness" by Muse a billion times a day and I hated it. After a while it grew on me and I started to really like it, but at that point everyone else was tired of it and they don't play it anymore now :,(
Despite the large amount of ranting I can do about it, I still listen to the radio more often than I use the internet, though, which is really saying something
