I edited for you.
Internet Addiction
The exponential growth of the Internet over the past decade has opened up a new world for children and teenagers to learn, play and communicate. Blogs, discussion forums, search engines, file-sharing, online gaming and instant messaging have become an integral part of our daily lives.
While exciting, the access also exposes students to dangers such as online bullying, cyber predators and other hackings. How do we keep safe even as we surf the internet?
Cyberwellness
Cyberwellness refers to the positive well-being of internet users. It involves an understanding of the dangers of harmful online behaviors, an awareness of how to protect yourself and other internet users from such dangers.
Principles
There are two principles you need to guide you in your actions when participating in online activities. They are:
-Respect for self and others:
Uphold your dignity when online, avoid surfing inappropriate sites, and don't participate in illegal online activities such as online gambling and pornography.
Also, respect others by avoiding use of their work without permission and publishing of indesirable materials that hurt others.
-Safe and responsible use:
Understand the dangers of harmful and illegal online behaviors, and learn to protect yourself as well as to avoid dangers you may encounter online.
Also, remember to think carefully about the consequences of your decisions and behavior while online and make responsible choices to protect yourself and the community.
When you are participating in any online activity, always remember to follow these 3 simple steps:
1) Sense: Are you aware of the dangers online? Whenever you are online, the first step is to 'sense' the dangers online.
2) Think: Should I be doing this? Using the two principles as a guide, analyse and think carefully about the encounter before acting.
3) Act: Have the courage to act and behave responsibly!
For more information, approach your school counselor, a teacher or a trusted adult.
@ chongyian: Only a couple spelling/grammar mistakes. This is really good! But it shouldn't be called Internet addiction, the topic is more about how to be safe online. There's nothing about addiction here.

I like this Scratchers Say post:
I like the video motion-sensing. I think it would be great for sports games so kids can be more active while on the computer. It would be like Xbox Kinect!

Overall, I can see Scratch 2.0 as a huge milestone. Cloning will be basically OOP. The possibilities for cloud variables are endless- we will probably end up with several RPG's, though the lack of a 'username' block in annoying. The whole motion sensing thing confuses me though. I never figured that block out; does it like sense for your hands or something or does it just give you access to the camera and then you have to figure out how to use that just like any other developer, except with Scratch? And run-time sprite creation will be absolutely great. For me personally, I know that I will most likely spend much of my time making Stick RPG an online multiplayer (adding stuff too). - RedRocker227
We also have another one but it's not that good.

I had an idea a few days ago, but I forgot to tell you.
Seeing as I'm only spontaniously funny, and not funny 24/7, I did not volunteer to make comics for the comics page. However, it's more than likely that there are at least a few comedic minds out there on Scratch, so I was thinking that I could make a thread in the Requests forum for visual puns and jokes, and I could invite others to share their funny ideas on the thread. I would pick out the top few jokes that I found most amusing, show it to you guys, and we'd have a vote. Once we've decided which one is funniest, I would draw it to life, and we'd put it in the paper, along with my name for the graphics and whoever's name it is for the joke itself. Sound okay?
Oo, oo, oo! Look at this!!!

First, happy birthday! Second, I'll update the first post right now. If you're feeling really ambitious, you can try to make a more profesional-looking template.

Sportsdude, that should be under spotlight... You can ask for that.
And everyone, my topic on Internet addiction shall be renamed cyber-wellness... Anything else I can write for, though? I get bored when I have nothing to do...
Offline
I think there should be a Text-Based Games article.

I think it would go better under comings and goings (it's a new column).
