Hi, it's WingsGames here, and I've decided to start up a newspaper!

Hello, and welcome to the Scratch Chatter Recruitment Office! Here at Scratch Chatter, we plan to raise the bar on the traditional Scratch newspaper by looking into what really matters to Scratchers. The newspaper will come out once every two weeks, an inside look as to what is going on in both the projects and forums sections of Scratch, along with interviews, advice, and many other things. There are still many spots open, so please consider joining!

If you've made it this far, awesome! Now, it's time to learn a little bit about how the company is organized.

Company Structure:
CEO: The founder of the company. Makes sure that new members are entered into the company, that work is getting done, and does the template. WingsGames
Vice-CEO: Helps the CEO out. Admits new members, and makes sure that everything is getting done. chongyian
Supervisor: There is one for each office. They make sure that all jobs are getting done.
Writing: JH1010
Reporting: HumHumGames
Art: Zangooser
Ideas: Wolvesstar97
Workers: The driving force of the company. Based on their office, they either write articles, report, make art, or come up with ideas.
Note: Supervisors, the Vice-CEO, and the CEO must all still contribute to whatever department they're in.

There are many positions open, so feel free to choose whichever one fits you best.
Note: You can apply for two positions if you want.

Reporters: Reporters really know what's going on in Scratch. They are generally active on the forums, and know what the community is interested in, and aren't afraid to interview people. Reporters take notes and send them to writers.
Writers: Writers generally excel at writing, and keep articles engaging and interesting for the readers. They can take mincemeat notes from a reporter and weave them into an informative article, and are willing to investigate if more information is needed. Writers write the articles in the paper.
Ideas Workers: Ideas Workers are very creative. They are in touch with the community (like reporters) and know what's going on. If news is slow, they can still come up with interesting ideas. Ideas Workers suggest ideas for articles and new columns.
Artists: Artists are very artistic (obviously) and can draw illustrations to go with stories. They know how to draw people and things, and can create good quality art relatively quickly. Artists draw the cover picture of the paper along with pictures that are interspersed throughout the paper.

Any Previous Work (not required): In reporting? No, sorry. But I'm friendly with other Scratchers and I know a lot about what's going on with the Scratch community.

How often you'll check the forums: I usually do it somewhere 11 AM to 10 PM three or four times a day for a long time. (Central Time)

Where did you hear about the paper?: I go to Zangooser's signature shop a lot, and I saw the signature that you had made. Pretty cool.

Previous work: None relevant but i've a collabed lots (and with zang and bey)
Where i heard about it: I saw on the front page of collabs and was interested.
I always check at least once a day

Wow, you really seem interested! smile You can be all three, but then you can't get behind on your work. If you feel that it is, you can drop a job or two. For now, however, you are now a reporter, artist, and writer. Visit the Production Office

You can be the proofreader of a couple of columns. Also, would you be willing to be a reporter? They are very important to the paper, and the more, the better. If you aren't that's fine. Anyway, visit the Production Office to get started!
