I was thinking of a maze with different sections of types of monsters (like ice, magic and techno) in the castle. Outside of the castle, I was thinking of 10 different towers which you have to try and hack into by using tools, but they have to be attacked in a certain order - you have to find out the order, and as each tower is only vulnerable to one type of weapon, you have to find the different type of weapons, so you can attack the towers. Then once you've defeated the towers you can go into the castle and find the boss.
