I've been reading up on the new iPhone that will arive in September and it sounds really nice. It will be thinner, have a larger screen, have 4G LTE networks provided, have a different dock connector, have a different front camera, and a different back to it.
Also, It will have iOS 6 along with the other devices.

I did a mockup on my blog. This was a few months ago.

I hate it when people say things as if they know when something is coming out and what it is exactly. You may be right, but now other people think it's confirmed and true when it might not be: Apple does it's very best to keep confidential.

What I am really hoping is also released at that event is the rMBP 13. iOS 6 really isn't important to me because Apple has shown that they don't care about users with older hardware. Like, the exactly previous generation. Siri shouldnt really need the A5x processor since it is all handled remotely.

Seriously though? Not even the last generation? Planned obsolescence is a part of computers, but if users need to replace their stuff within a year for an expensive piece of equipment, that is ridiculous.

But isn't the new charging dock going to be a pain? You've gotten all the chargers you need for each iPod you have (assuming you're in a family, if not, why do you have more than one iPod?), and now you have to get new ones. And all the companies that made the charging dock are now going to have to change. It's really a stupid change. It would've been better if they enhanced the capabilities of it (such as charging faster).

I really don't see the point in complaining over this. Accessories will need to change, but that is the only downside. People complained about the new MagSafe 2 connector on the latest MacBooks, but they give you a charger with each device. It isn't like you need to have multiple chargers, just have one and throw it in your backpack.

A Chinese website started advertising it before it was announced.

Wait until they actually announce that the 5 will have a new dock before you complain about it, you don't even know there will be one.
This is a milestone post for me; I'll look back here when I have 10,000 posts.

Another thing about Apple is, unlike Microsoft, they have less business customers. Because of this, they can move forward and not care about people being left behind.

That picture looks like the Apple version of my phone.
Previous iPhones, including the 4S, have all been to bulky for me.

I like the 4S design, but I wish it were a bit thinner and taller.

Yea... the rounded design is widely held as a better design than the boxier 4 and 4S design. I agree.

I really like the design of my phone and it seems really similar to your mockup jji:

A HTC. I can tell from the huge central camera lens.
It's still plastic though, and I don't like plastic. A great overall design though (apart from the huge camera lens).

Rounded like the earlier iPhones? Personally I prefer the boxy design.

The 4S also has a really tiny screen.

At least it's not horrendously large like the Samsung Note. IMO, large 4.3" screens are unwieldy and do more harm than good. A mobile is supposed to be portable!

Cell phones used to be bulky.

Exactly, but now they aren't. Big phones like the Samsung note are a step backwards. A really tiny phone wouldn't be very nice either, but neither is a huge one. We have tablets for that.

That Google project has a lot of room for failure - it could set humans back and do us bad. However, it could also really enhance our lives.

There was one really great animation demo, some After Effects stuff done by someone for a college project about something where all sorts of information was displayed on a contact lens. It was pretty epic.
