My opinion from Game ratings to scratch ratings
AS usual, age ratings were declined time and time again as a suggestion for scratch, but i am doing a translation on what i think game age rating would be on scratch.
3 and 7 will be rated FE on scratch, honestly there aren't that many 5 year olds on scratch.
12 will be rated NFE, these are not removed but not on the front page
16 and 18 would be censored. you will be warned about not making these type of projects and 18 would probably get you banned. most scratchers are to young for these types of games,
can anyone else do a ESRB version, I live in the UK so I don't know ESRB much.
please remind me if you think i am wrong about this.
this is not definete.

Belongs in Suggestions.

This isn't the right place to put this, try reporting it to get it moved.
Anyway, I don't think Scratch needs ratings like this, because it would give the mods a lot of extra work to do. But, I'll translate it to ESRB for you
EC/E:FE
T:NFE
M/AO:Censored
IDK where to put E10 (I think it's 9 or 10 in PEGI). Perhaps under FE?

NFE at 12 seems a little harsh. I think this debate should only be raised when there is an incredibly good project that might be NFE.

They actually have removed projects from the front page without removing them before if memory serves.

i know it would be declined if this was an actual suggestion, it's just a translation, i don't know where E10+ goes either, i think it could go either way whether it's high end or low end.

This will always be declined because Scratch is for all ages blablabla

I understand what you're saying and nothing above 12 can even make it on Scratch because Scratch is for all ages blablabla

I think it may provoke innapropriate projects if Scratch went to a rating system.

Define "Opinion Guide"

This has been suggested numerous times before and generally declined because, as everyone has already cited, Scratch is for all ages. Additionally, it would be unecessary extra work for the Scratch staff.

Nah Man This Is Just An "Opinion Guide"

In Australia there are five stages of rating (four of which are applied to games)
G- All Ages
PG- Reccomended 13+
M- Reccomended 15+
MA- Restricted 15+
R- Restricted 18+
Although in Australia there is no 18+ Ratings for games.
Adult games are either given a 15+ rating (which is stupid because you can be 15 and play MadWorld and House of the Dead) or banned from store shelves (like Mortal Kombat 9)

I think on every game there should be an age rating because if there was people would know that it is the right age for them.
3+, 7+, 12+, 16+, 18+!
But they must carefully choose the right age because what would happen if there was a e.g Mario game and it was rated 12+, It should be 3+.
Please add age ratings!
