I saw most of it.  I thought it was awesome!  The transformations were spectacular and I enjoyed the journey through musical history.  Watching the Queen skydive into the arena was unexpected  smile

I loved the lighting of the torch.  I doubt anyone was expecting that to be the torch.
But I sorta wish it was Beckham who brought the torch in.  sad

I watched until the last of the countless amount of countries beggining with B came in. What was it like when the torch was lit?

How I felt before 2.0 was announced - R.I.P 1.4.

It was pretty cool!  I have to say that I liked Beijing's ceremony better though.  It was much more insane.

wow it was so awesome! (what I saw of it anyway)

Bad news: I didn't get to see the whole thing 'cause it was getting late.
Good news: We recorded it to watch later.

I was so amazed at what they could do with just that space. With the children, the smokestacks, and everything, it all was terrific! Those  "thank you tim" and "Mr. Bean" performances were great!
