Since My Little Pony became popular when Friendship is Magic came out, and little girls liked it before it was cool, does it make them hipsters? Hipsters are people who like something before its cool. And since its mainstream now, do little hipster girls still like it? hmm tongue

It's marketed for little girls (originally), right?
And before the bronies get all mad at me
I'm also taking the old TV show and plastic figurines into account
So they're going to like it, because it was made for them
Hipsters, I think, just acquire a liking to something that is not generally liked by others and hasn't been shoved in their faces again and again saying "WATCH THIS SHOW! BUY THIS PRODUCT! YOU'LL LOVE IT"

Same. I grew up on the 3rd generation. I stopped playing with them around 2007-2008-ish.

My Little Pony has been ingrained in female toddler culture for a very long time.

Besides, liking one thing before it became cool != a hipster.

In truth, I mostly played with the figurines' snow shoes/boots/whatever they were, and used them as hats for Calico Critters

But doesn't that mean hipsters aren't hipsters until what they are hipsters about is cool. Because I eat food and that's not especially cool. But what if eating food becomes super cool and mainstream then I'll be a hipster, but I'm not now.
