The below link is a list I made of well-known Scratchers who had made their way to deviantart.com.
http://maki-tak.deviantart.com/journal/ … ?offset=20
This is not a complete list. I actually stopped updating it some time ago because of the sheer quantity of Scratchers who I came across. Then deviantart enabled people to change their usernames, so many of these links are broken.
But I figured I'd post this here anyway.

How can scratchers 'move on' to Deviantart, when Scratch and dA are completely different things?

I never said moved on. I said moved, in the sense that they still are on scratch. Sorry for the confusion.
Hai Maki. :33
I had an account (~LeifKatcher). I switched to ~hellogalaxies.

I use both of them, I don't think anyone should quit Scratch just for DA. I mean, they're completely different... X3

...I seriously need to learn to draw/color in computer. Any tips for decent coloring in Paint.NET and Inkscape, anyone?

I've got a deviantArt. (Actually, as a matter of fact... I moved here from dA!) I'd rather not share it, though, because you gotta remember, there are little kids here on Scratch, who can be very impulsive, and click on links that lead to places like dA, where there is some mature content.

Develop a good understanding of light and shadow. Anatomy helps, too, if you're making living creatures.

I was actually looking to know how to use the tools the programs offer - it's nowhere near the same as coloring with a pencil, even with a tablet (which I don't have). Thank you anyway
