improved art and functions
When drawing a new sprite, I wish it could fade out with semi transparency. Scratch could collaborate with GIMP for this. Also, I would like to see exponents, roots, and making a sprite incapable of moving through or past another (making sprites solid to all or specific sprites). Finally, music should be able to fade out or in to another. with all of this, games would have more freedom!

this is going to happen in the new version of Scratch coming soon!

I don't think this topic has to be closed yet. Indeed, some of the suggestions will be are planned for Scratch 2.0 (like better art tools, and music effects), but allowing sprites to be solid to all or specific sprites, as in collision, is another good suggestion for a Scratch feature.
