Well, I'm using PowrHost to host BlueTetra, when about 3 months later I discover that they added adverts to it! Now I'm not talking about BEARABLE google ads, I'm talking pointless, big, stupid flash adverts. And due to the web scheme of my game, it covers the action bar, meaning you can't go further!
KEY POINT: PowrHost uses big adverts!

I'll keep this in mind if I'm ever looking for a new hosting service provider. It's too bad they seem to have not told you about this, switching to a new host might be a bit of a pain.

It is.
I actually suggest moving your files to 000webhost - the only reputable free host out there - and then making your current site redirect to the new one with simple javascript.

1freehosting.com seems to work fine.

000webhost is just more well known. However, that one seems reputable too! Stupid PowrHost. It said it DOESN'T do ads apart from the tiny text one!

I don't think 000webhost allows games.

x10hosting is pretty good and reliable, but I use 1freehosting for my sites, because I found a lot of products such as phpVMS didnt work at all on 000webhost.

Or just pay for a VPS and have no rules on your website

Edit: Fav.cc is bad - they have a lot of downtime.
Edit: x10Hosting is also a great host, but you are required to login to your cPanel every (30?) days. (I think it's 30 the last time I checked.)
Try Freezoy - they seem pretty good.

It seems that that is only for flash games and stuff, if it is something that is downloaded it should be fine.

Yeah, I dont like the ads on Powrhost. However, they can be "deleted". In an HTML document (or php, since its basicly the same thing) put this directly before the </body>
<div style="display:none">
Dont close that div. Put all the content you want on the page before that div. You see, Powrhost puts the ads before the </body> tag. So, if you put <div style="display:none;"> right before the </body> tag, Powrhost will put the ads after that. So, since the style of the div is set to not display anything, it hides ads!
But I switched to 000webhost because I didnt really trust Powrhost (McAfee doesnt trust them either)

Not entirely - it's discussing a particular problem. And there are also some good suggestions coming forth. I think it's productive - but I appreciate your opinion.

From the site:
No Ads
Our free unlimited hosting is the best in the world because there are no ads. Powrhost's #1 aim is not to make a ton of money, it's to provide you with web hosting for free with no ads. We can cover our costs trough donations and funding, so you don't have to!

So will BlueTetra be switching hosts, or maybe using GP1's solution?

Not sure as of yet. They both have their downsides, as with 000, it could be shut down. GP1's solution seems much easier, I'll try it!
