Good news, if you go to http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewforum.php?id=46, there's ones that you can still reply! The ones that are blue, you can still reply on those!

First of all, broken link.
And second, anything blue in Misc. is moved so posts appear in their new area.
Paradox's post count doesn't work anymore!

Ehh, neither's really optimal. This is easier to moderate and keep clean, whereas Misc was more just fun. But that's just my opinion. They each have their pros and cons.

I miss misc. Maybe, once every miscer has quit, they'll reopen it. They closed it due to all the quitting topics, trolling waves, etc. Though miscers weren't behind the trolling.

actually they closed it because it was hard to moderate
polls, topics about your daily life, and just plain silliness were too much to bear apparently

It kind of does make sense; those things aren't really relevant to Scratch whereas, to a point, media you are creating and consuming is.
