kickstarter
kickstarter is an awesome site where people can start a "project" like a new product or cool video they want to make, and then anyone can hop on their site and fund projects to get prizes like a free copy of the video or something similar.
Being that most everyone on Scratch is a minor, I doubt anyone has helped fund a project since you have to be 18 or older to do that. But has anyone read/watched any awesome projects lately?

I've always thought it's really cool, and I've seen Kickstarters for various things like indie bands I listen to trying to get albums pressed or the brony documentary that's happening. It's a really smart concept, though.
